Sharp LC-C4067UN AQUOS 1920 x 1080 Full HD 1080p LCD HDTV Review

Hello,

This TV is not perfect, but I think it is a good quality 1080p. I was a bit 'paranoid to be on TV vs 60Hz 120Hz, but found no major problems. I'm watching TV about four weeks and are football, hockey and track and field has seen some blue ray movies on PS3 without major problems. The movie mode in the Advanced menu seems the 03: 02 pull-down handle movies in 1080i HD cable very well, so this option must be enabled (see below). 480th offerspretty well after calibration.

Calibration.

Outside the window, the settings are not optimal (they are also always). For the calibration, I followed a guide CurtPalme henceforth as "Kal's Guide" known.

This guide will help you adjust grayscale and color to get a professional calibration. Kal's Guide should be used, you must:

A third calibration DVD, Digital Video Essentials HD Basics,

AVS HD 709 software is burned onto a regular DVD, but you need to play a Blu Ray. Note that if you use this, you must identify the correct model grayscale same.

The TV did not adjust brightness or RGBContrast (called RGBLowEnd and RGBHighEnd in Kal's Guide, also known as RGB gain and bias), so that this part of the Greyscale calibration should be ignored. However, the CMS system allows individual adjustment of RGB value (lightness), hue and saturation, which is much better than a simple color and tone color setting.

First of all, I walked through the two shades of gray and primary / secondary color calibration with default settings to see where I was. I used the default "User"Picture settings as a starting point. If you are not interested in technical details, skip this section and scroll down to the recommended calibration settings for LC C4067UN. Here is a summary of the results with the out-of-the-box "user" settings.

The deltaE (error% from D65) values for 0 IRE and 100 IRE were as follows:
0 IRE: 123.8%, 10 IRE: 27.4%, 20 IRE: 28.4%, 30 IRE: 28.6%, 40 IRE: 30.6%, 50 IRE: 30.1%, 60 IRE: 29 , 8%, 70 IRE: 30.2%, 80 IRE: 29.7%, 90 IRE:% 26.9, 100 IRE: 22.7%.

After comparing similar size TVs at Best Buy, Sam's Club and Sears, I was bought this TV at Sears for $ 179 last Thursday there is an acquisition on the Internet back in the shop. The hardest part was hooking my laptop was one of the reasons for purchase. I have to oppose such a VGA cable, HDMI is the native resolution of 1600×900 and Windows 7 is okay, but was pushed on the TV screen to the right computer. I called technical support and women took advantage of me for help in correcting the problem. I removed Internet Explorer on the television screen and maximize the window I had then with the TV settings,plays with the horizontal alignment, vertical alignment and size and have set up correctly and looks good. The remote is quite big, but not greater than my DVR can do anything for me. My initial view is that its great TV for the money, so only time will tell on durability.

Purchased VX200E Vizio 20 "Night HDTV last Sam's Club for $ 170. I was considering a Samsung LN19B360 19" HDTV to replace our old non-HD Samsung 19 "LCD on the kitchen counter. The VX200E Vizio caught my attention with a photo large, larger more compact a lower price than the Samsung … so I went away with the Vizio. are directly connected to the cable … no cable box, no external antenna. If the data "Turn On "- command, not the quantity takes a few seconds to warm"up before the transition, but this is not a show-stopper. After going through the setup process, we were happy to be first class image, the light of the price. channels broadcast in HD via the cable to see large view of this series. Sound quality is satisfactory, although a bit 'hot at the highest … have not tried to adjust sound or image / color … the defaults are pretty good.

I wonder if TV Remote Control engineers design products that use? It seems that none of the TVRemote controls are on the bottom of such a remote control device on the table / counter in the endless push-flat, remote mirroring.

Overall I'm very pleased with this product … after less than 24 hours of use … its performance over time is to determine my long-term vision for quality and reliability.

This set was designed for use in the kitchen. On the basis of low price, many connection options available, decent sound quality and is a good size for your application, we went with the Vizio.

The main area is behind the TV image quality.

It is not clear, it is very grainy at all times, and suffers from great movement blur. The images are simply not the right quantity. The colors were alive when.

Only until last night together, so I do not know longevity. But last night the TV I was very pleased with all aspects of this device is very happy. Zapping was not a problem. We bought one and got home only to find the built-in DVD player does not load DVDs. Took to save again, but I have another. The remote is not fully reflected in the new job, but did anyway. My mistake. After three months the DVD player was a lease and not eject. Mintek told them to ship, and will resolve in 4-6 weeks. The unit is not even the TV mode and DVD player so that you change depended not even use it as a TV.
Avoid the device (and I suspect all MintekProducts).

Very poor video controls for aspect ratio – VC Geezer – Nevada
For the first inclusion of this product, video and sound were good. Immediately noticed that his hand was badly written and fails to explain some of the controls at all. It seemed only two settings for aspect ratio: 4:3 and the standard is too broad.
After about two months to finally play a DVD 04:03 and found that the display horizontally stretched in fat people. None of the controls is all for the aspect ratio – makes doing only attach pictures zoomlarger.
Posted a message on these issues for technical support Mintek's prior two months without any response.
Conclusion: The hardware is ok, but the software and documentation are very poor. Mintek has a long way to go before we have a high quality product, goes'. I seriously doubt that I ever buy any product Mintek again.

I bought this Mintek DTV-265-D 26 "this weekend, because I have the money, liked the built-in DVD and style (in that order).

First reaction: I was immediately disappointed when I put the Mintek home, especially when I compared it to my 2 years of Sony WEGA LCD 23 "Running in another room.

Image: The non-HDTV cable on the picture I tried Mintek is not very good … no comparison to my Sony. The picture was just not live or light, in comparisonSony … It 'was boring to watch.

Sound: The sound for Mintek incredibly bad … my 13 "old TV has better sound. The sound is very metallic and weak and detracted from the pleasure TV show (MTV in particular).

Built-in DVD: The built-Mintek DVD takes too long to load and do all sorts of strange noises. As the movie to play after all was the picture of good / sharp so I'll give them credit for that. But later it was again long and hard to turn backover from TV to DVD.

I fiddled around with Mintek all day, but could make no improvement to my questions.

Conclusion: I grab the Mintek and the return to the store this week. I want to spend more money and become a brand with a higher final quality / performance (probably the Panasonic or Sony 26 ") was. The biggest eye-opener for me, a comparison of Mintek Side-by-side with my Sony sons … no comparison and it makes me appreciate the Sonymore.

Mintek I gave 2 stars instead of one star, because it was the lowest price TV, so you can not have unrealistic expectations.

Sylvania LC320SS8 32-Inch WXGA LCD HDTV Review

Overall, the LD320SS8 a great product. I have not done anything yet exotic – but thus far are extremely hppy with the image and the set. However, I had occasion to call Sylvania (Funai) technical support to confirm how to remove the wall TV stand and support. This is a different story under:

Imagine my surprise when the very nice lady told me not cast retaining wall and no information on them. I reminded them I was alone to ensurenot fall, and has repeatedly requested help — with the same answer. I asked a supervisor and was told there was not followed by the laying on his part.

Bottom line — I do not know and depends not have the courage to try again, the situation by releasing the four bolts to hold it to appear to drop

BTW, companies responding concluded the wall, but told me to contact a supervisor at Sylvania. I sent two letters to Sylvania headquarters, so far no response. <br/>
So I guess buy, even though I have so far with the set is the ultimate American brand, I'm looking forward (even if done by someone else). It is a bridge too far for me.

Not always buy Sylvania (fujai) products. Customer service is terrible. This is my television and only 1 year warranty last month and now will not turn on. I called a person of this company and are charged $ 20/hr plus the cost of parts. Worst Customer Service I’ve ever experienced – stay away from FUNAI – sax music –
TV died 38 days after purchase. Called Sylvania (which is now FUNAI), and recommended a local service center. The LCD panel requires replacement, but the part was discontinued. I called FUNAI to figure out what to do, and wanted to return to service, to bring the TV to another service center to receive. I asked what good would that do if the party was interrupted, did not answer, he said only: "It 's just the way we do." I told them that since it was their product was not 'would waste my gas to go pick it up, had to pick it up. Waited a week and have never taken and never contacted the service center. I called but I FUNAI around the nose itself. They said this time would pick up, but I had to recall when it was packed and ready for shipment (which has agreed to postpone to a field). I then asked how to retain data after that point. They ship to me? How do they know where to send a new TVor check refund, again no reasonable answer. I went instead to repair, took the TV and asked BJ's Wholesale to refund my money, and they did. I purchased a Toshiba, which presumably better customer service. Do not ever buy a product FUNAI – Customer service is the worst. Other companies that own them are: Emerson and Symphonic. Stay away if you want to keep your sanity.

We bought this TV, so we are not confused with a DVD player for our bedroom. It works great so far and even though we do windows glow in front of the TV so you can still see the image. The price was perfect, so we are very happy. The downside for some might be that it is a slim because the DVD goes straight to the front.

A piece of JUNK! – S. Merritt – USA
Acquired this unit from Sears in Oct. 7 and feb08 we had our problems before. The unit simply to exit. The man said that the repair was two of the three panels in the evil within. After waiting for the company to new plates we finally resolved. He worked for a while 'until the screen started to separate. June 2010. repair man advised not repairable, so we contacted Sears with our service contract and discovered that they would not refund or trade for a unit at the same price. Insteadsaid TV shows are now available, making only about half of the loans, we pay for this device. Now I am a TV $ 400 for seven hundred dollars … A big mess. I do not want to return to the Sears store and I will not buy another one again Sylvania TV.

Terrible Company – Stephen P. Berger –
This TV has stopped working seven months after purchase. I bought from Sears. No part available to repair this TV. TV close on 02/05/2008. A party is not expected to resolve the problem to be available July 15, 2008. Ridiculous !!!!. Sears will not replace or give credit to this piece of garbage.

Nice for the price – New Beginnings Christian Center –
This set is very good for the price that our secondary TV over the fireplace and I am very happy with him. The image is excellent, but I agree that life is not on board until the DVD image.
